3-4 Stroke (Pentatonic notes only ) | {1} At the beginning of the first up beat in a note cluster, strike the first note on any of the 1-5 strings (First String) 3 times (down-up-down (d/u/d) ). {2} Strike the next higher note on the first string. {3} Strike the first note on the first string. {4} Strike the second string (thicker string) at a higher fret position than for first note. {5} Strike the second string at a lower fret position and hold until the beginning of the first down beat.
